📚👨‍🏫 Today, our Head of School stepped in as a substitute teacher—and he looked like a natural being back in that role! With his passion for education and love for connecting with students, it was clear he has not missed a beat. 🌎 🗺️ He was in his sweet spot of History and Geography. Engaging the students in discussions about geographic spatial awareness and also how names of locations can change. We’re so grateful for Mr. Peter's leadership both in and out of the classroom. 💜 #ucathunder

🎄🎅 Yesterday, our staff also took their turn for a Christmas party! The afternoon was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and holiday cheer. 🎁🎶 They played the dice game to win (and steal) gifts, a hilarious round of unscrambling song lyrics, and an intense cotton ball toss into plastic cups. Who knew throwing cotton balls could be so competitive? 😂 The competition was fierce, but the joy and camaraderie were even greater. It’s always a blessing to come together as a team and celebrate the season! 💜🎄 #ucathunder #ucastaff

✈️🧪 Our aviation students have been learning about composites. They’ve studied how these advanced materials, though more expensive to produce and more challenging to repair, are revolutionizing the aviation industry. Composites are becoming increasingly common as we develop lighter, stronger, and more durable materials. 💡 What’s even more impressive? These materials can be manufactured with specific features tailored to their intended use, making them invaluable in modern aircraft design. Our students put their own composite structures to the test to see how much weight and pressure could be applied before the structure was compromised. We’re excited to see our students explore the innovations shaping the future of aviation! 🚀✈️ #ucathunder #ucaaviation

📣 Coming Soon… “Faithfully Ever After” ✝️ Each year, UCA puts on a Spring Ministry Production performed by our Pre-K through 7th grade students. This year’s production will weave together elements from several different fairy tales, fables, and Bible stories. These familiar stories, adapted by Mrs. Chant and Mrs. Strand, will emphasize a biblical message. 🎭 Earlier this week, our 7th graders were the first to learn what this year’s play would be, as they have the main acting and speaking parts. They were given their scripts and read through the production together. 📆 Mark your calendars for the performances on March 13th and 14th, 2025. You won’t want to miss it! #ucathunder #ucafinearts

This morning, a preselected group of our elementary students had the incredible opportunity to step on stage as a panel of speakers during chapel! 🙌 🎄They beautifully read the Christmas story from the book of Luke 📖 and engaged in meaningful discussions as Dr. Morrison asked questions to help them—and all of us—go deeper into the story’s significance. We’re so proud of these young leaders for their courage, thoughtfulness, and love for sharing God’s word. 💜 🌟 #ucathunder #ucaelementary

🌟 Moved by what she was learning in her Bible class, 6th-grade student Elise felt called to share her newfound excitement with others. Her solution? Starting a neighborhood Bible study! 📖 What began as a small idea quickly grew into a meaningful gathering of girls eager to dive into scripture and grow in their faith together. 🙏💕 “These Bible stories make me feel very excited,” Elise shared. “I wanted others to feel the same hope and joy that I’ve been learning about.” 💖🙌 For the full story, click here: https://unitedchristianacademymn.sites.thrillshare.com/article/1917520 #ucathunder
