Light the Way is a capital campaign for the United Christian Academy Foundation, shining a light on the way forward; to raise funds for the new Lakeville campus, provide quality Christian education, and provide long-term funding for endowments and scholarships.
The Light the Way Campaign allows us to invest in the transformational changes needed to achieve our vision of creating a complete educational experience for all our students, teachers, and families on a single campus.

UCA proudly has a 99% graduation rate! From Pre K through 12th grade, we are committed to developing leaders through programs that nurture spiritual growth and integrity. Our fine arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities support our mission to cultivate Christ-centered leadership. Students grow in faith and character through initiatives like the House System and Buddies program. At UCA, we intentionally shape students to be academically prepared and lead with purpose, guided by biblical values.
Our discipleship model, inspired by Jesus' relationship with His followers, focuses on teaching, mentoring, and training. Every day, our staff builds strong relationships with students, providing high-quality education and guiding them to love and live for Jesus. We could not do this on our own. We have assembled a team of experienced professionals – each exceptional in their field – but they will partner with UCA to build the new campus with ministry at its core.
For more than 40 years, a total of 104 years of educational experience between the three legacy schools, we have served families from 22 communities and more than 80 different churches and all denominations across the Twin Cities. UCA programs are centered around two elemental precepts: (1) Discipleship in Christ, and (2) preparation of a generation to be a shining light in the Kingdom of God
Development plans for the multi-phased project include:
A new academic building will allow us to accommodate up to 1400 students
Athletic Complex, Sports, and Playing Fields
A multi-use theater seating 750 patrons
Trades Building and Aviation Center includes an aviation program that can help support the growing need for additional pilots
Welcoming spaces that enhance learning, foster positive relationships, and strengthen our role as pioneers and leaders in Preschool-Grade 12 education
