Our high school students had an awesome night at this year’s Sadies event! The gym came alive under the black lights as students dressed in neon and white, enjoying time together. 💡🔆
From Zorb Wars and yard games to dancing, playing cards, and simply hanging out, the evening was filled with laughter, connection, and plenty of fun. 🎉🪩

🫀🔬 Our high school anatomy students wrapped up their cardiovascular unit with a dissection of a deer heart, giving them a closer look at the heart's structures and function.
These hearts were generously donated by current and former students, along with the teacher’s family and friends—thank you to everyone who made this learning experience possible!

Using sectional charts, our Aviation 3 class explored the National Airspace System, gaining a better understanding of how airspace is organized and the different regulations that apply to each class.
This practical approach helped bring complex concepts to life as students connected chart reading with real-world aviation rules and safety. ✈️ 🗺️

Our kindergarteners took a trip across the pond as they studied England—and celebrated with a delightful Tea Party in their classroom ☕🇬🇧
They invited special guests, beautifully decorated the tables with fine china, and enjoyed traditional tea and treats together. It was a sweet and memorable way to bring learning to life while practicing hospitality and good manners!

Our kindergarteners celebrated a very important milestone in phonics this week—the wedding of Q & U! 💍 📚
Through a fun and memorable “ceremony” officiated by Dr. Morrison, students learned why these two letters almost always stick together when making words. There were songs, traditional wedding dances, cupcakes, and plenty of smiles and giggles. Lots of learning as Q and U officially became a team. 💜

In this class with Mrs. Larson, they’re exploring what it means to create, own, and run a business through self-discovery and hands-on, project-based learning. One of their first real-world projects? Taking ownership of the school vending machines—tracking inventory, placing orders, stocking products, and learning what it takes to manage day-to-day operations.
As a capstone experience, students will bring everything together with a Shark Tank–style business proposal, pitching their ideas and plans just like real entrepreneurs. It’s an exciting glimpse into the business world and a great opportunity for students to build confidence, creativity, and practical skills they’ll use far beyond the classroom!

Our 9th grade science students put their investigative skills to the test today during their Sludge Lab. Using physical properties and separation techniques—like chromatography, distillation, density ⚖️, flame tests, and filtration —students worked to identify seven unknown substances. 🔥🧪

As part of their history studies, our 5th grade students participated in a hands-on fur trade simulation. Dressed for the part, students worked in teams to scour the “trapping grounds” in search of Made Beaver pelts. They then used their pelts to negotiate trades at a trading post or with inland traders—learning firsthand about economics, cooperation, and decision-making.
To add to the realism, some groups were even “struck with illness” and had to sit out briefly, reminding students of the real challenges faced during this period in history. 🤒

Students in the younger grades will have singing roles woven throughout the acting scenes. This production is one of the highlights of our school year and offers an incredible opportunity for students to stretch themselves, serve others, and use their gifts in a unique and meaningful way. We can’t wait to see how God works through it all! 💜
