This morning, a preselected group of our elementary students had the incredible opportunity to step on stage as a panel of speakers during chapel! 🙌
🎄They beautifully read the Christmas story from the book of Luke 📖 and engaged in meaningful discussions as Dr. Morrison asked questions to help them—and all of us—go deeper into the story’s significance.

🌟 Moved by what she was learning in her Bible class, 6th-grade student Elise felt called to share her newfound excitement with others. Her solution? Starting a neighborhood Bible study! 📖 What began as a small idea quickly grew into a meaningful gathering of girls eager to dive into scripture and grow in their faith together. 🙏💕
“These Bible stories make me feel very excited,” Elise shared. “I wanted others to feel the same hope and joy that I’ve been learning about.” 💖🙌

Last Friday, our middle and high school students channeled their creativity and competitive spirit into a festive door-decorating competition! 🎨🚪
Each House worked together to design and transform their doors into holiday masterpieces, themed on Christmas songs. 🎁❄️
It’s incredible to see teamwork, creativity, and friendly competition come to life in such a fun and festive way. Staff from UCA and CVC will be voting on the best doors.

Our kindergarten class had an exciting adventure last week inspired by The Gingerbread Man! After reading the beloved story, the students set out on their very own gingerbread man hunt. 🔍 Each clue led them closer and closer to the prize, as they worked together to solve the mystery.
The final clue brought them to a sweet surprise—delicious gingerbread cookies to enjoy! What a fun way to combine storytelling, problem-solving, and a tasty treat.

🍽️ Throughout the week, our middle school classes take turns being the clean-up crew after lunch. Today, it was our 7th-grade boys who jumped in to get the job done! Wiping the tables down, folding them up, and tucking them away in the storage closet so that the space can be used for our phy ed classes.🧽🪣
We’re so proud of their willingness to help out, showing responsibility and teamwork. Even though it’s a task they are told to do, they do it with smiles! 💪👏

🏅 Congratulations to Colin, our first Athlete of the Week for the winter season!
🏀 Colin had a big second half for JV in their game against Hope Academy for a tough win. He had a huge block, knocked down a big three, and had the game-clinching assist on the inbounds play in the JV game. Then, on Tuesday, he stepped in and played some important minutes for Varsity in their game against Concordia Academy.

🎈🎉Our 3rd graders dove into history last week by learning about Tony Sarg, the creative mind behind the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons. Inspired by his ingenuity, they crafted their own parade balloons to showcase during Special Person’s Day!
Each student proudly introduced themselves to our guests, sharing their creativity and the story behind their unique balloons. It was a wonderful way to combine history, art, and community while celebrating the festive season! 🦃🎨

Mrs. Larson's calculus class had an incredible field trip to Seagate recently, diving into the fascinating world of engineering and technology! Students learned about the production and testing of disc drives while discovering the variety of engineering fields that make it all possible. 🖥️🔧✨
Thanks to Mrs. Larson’s husband, Nate, for leading the tour! The students explored cutting-edge tools and techniques like 3D printing, testing disc drives under a microscope, and viewing electrical signals on an oscilloscope.
