Our UCA Middle and High School students are experiencing a meaningful opportunity to enjoy a simple meal while making a big impact.
Each $3 lunch helped support Yulnefry (3rd grade, Dominican Republic) and Maria (8th grade, Guatemala), two students we sponsor through Child Hope and Provee. Thanks to your support, we’re helping provide daily meals, education, and hope for their futures.
Our students enjoyed a delicious plate of rice and black beans with condiments like ranch, chili sauce, cinnamon sugar, and more—while also getting a taste of common Latin American food our sponsored students eat.

After exploring the characteristics of birds and studying the life cycle of a chicken, we got to welcome two fluffy chicks into the classroom. 🐣🐥

🏅 Congratulations to Logan and Aaron, our Athletes of the Week! ⚾️ 🏐
⚾️ Logan is 14th in the state for hits, 2nd in runs, and has a .448 batting percentage. He has had a great career at UCA and has been an outstanding baseball player!
🏐 Aaron is 3rd in the state for sets. He is a great player and a big reason why we are on such a great run!

Our 2nd graders had an unexpected adventure for their field trip today as they “toured” Bloomington, making stops at a couple of parks that ended up being unavailable — but that didn’t stop the fun! We landed at Augsburg Park for some great playtime and a picnic 🛝🍎.
Then it was off to The Works Museum, where the kids took an engineering and circuits class and built their own light-up creatures 💡👾. They also enjoyed an hour of free play to explore and create.
A fun and memorable trip for all! 🎉

👨🏫 There’s a new principal in town!
At our recent auction fundraiser, Aidan won the privilege of sitting in as Elementary Principal for the Day. He did an amazing job helping Dr. Morrison — he brought lots of energy, great ideas, and plenty of smiles to UCA! 👏✨
🗣 Here are his reactions:
“I had a great day as Elementary Principal of the Day. With Dr. Morrison I experienced: walking the whole school on security rounds, checking doors during a lockdown drill, reading the Word and praying, and at recess I found myself surrounded by a large number of second graders — it turns out I was quite popular! They were very excited to see their new elementary principal join them on the playground. All in all a fun day. Just call me Dr. Langdon!”

Our 5th grade and kindergarten buddies had a blast celebrating the season together!
🌸🐣 The 5th graders hid eggs for their younger buddies to find, and once the hunt was over, they opened them together to discover fun treats! They also discovered clues that were revealed in a certain order to help learn the significance of the Easter and Resurrection story. 💜
What a sweet way to connect and grow together in faith! ✝️

🎉 The Emergency Medical Response students crushed it!
They recently went to Crown College to take their skills exam and passed all five of their skills on the first try! 💪👏 Even the Crown evaluators were impressed!
Here they are celebrating with their trusty mannequin after successfully completing:

💧 Oxygen administration
🩺 Medical patient assessment
🩹 Trauma patient assessment
While there's still a bit more to cover before official certification, the toughest hurdle is behind them. Way to go, future responders! 🚑🔥
