Recently, at UCA, we celebrated United Week, and it truly felt like a special time in the life of our school. United Week is a dedicated time when our school intentionally focuses on the spiritual formation of our students, encouraging them to grow in their faith and relationship with Christ.
Each day was filled with student-led House chapels in the secondary school, and we were continually blessed by their impact. Our student speakers demonstrated an inspiring level of maturity, biblical understanding, and clarity in communication, and it was a joy to watch them step into leadership as they encouraged their peers in their faith.
Throughout the week, our “Four Houses, One Family” theme was clearly on display. Students wore the colors of a certain house each day, building unity and fostering a strong sense of belonging across the school. It was encouraging to see relationships deepen and school spirit grow in such a visible way.
We also had the opportunity to participate in an All-School Missions Day, where students stepped into servant leadership in meaningful ways. Groups served both on and off campus. Anything from helping care for our campus and park, creating blankets for Hope 4 Venezuela Missions in Colombia, making pillowcases for Breaking Cycles in Guatemala, and partnering with the National Guard Family Readiness Group. Opportunities like these reflect the heart of UCA’s mission to help students live out their faith through action and service.
